The world is changing at a rapid pace. Everyone now sees to a greater or lesser extent that the governments are corrupt, that the big companies are corrupt and that courts no longer administer justice. In terms of light and darkness, darkness now rules the earth. We can put the stamp "satanic" on almost everything around us.
Nothing has changed since the fall. Due to the growing population, it is repeating and now intensifying on a global scale. What was Jesus' solution to this problem? He comes right to the point: It's about whether you bow to the powers of darkness and participate in them, or whether you repent and choose to live your life under the rule of Jesus. Can we earn our right that we may no longer live in the kingdom of darkness but in God's kingdom of light? No. The attitude of "I'll arrange that I become part of the light" is precisely the deepest darkness. It is a gift and you should accept it in gratitude. Exactly the essence of what it is all about. If you cannot accept the gift, your ego is still so big that the kingdom cannot be your place. But if you accept the gift of his sacrifice, fear not: God's kingdom reigns through death. Can you lose it? In my eyes yes. If you do not change your faith into words and deeds, do not propagate it, you are like the servant who puts his talent in the ground.
Jesus was also the only one who could say that he is the way, the truth and the life. He is the only pure sacrifice that could be accepted by God as a ransom. No other being was without sin. In fact, the triune God himself paid the debt of the punishment through this sacrifice.
Is that going to change this world because you repent and accept the gift? Yes and no. Yes, in the sense that when more people follow Jesus, the more positivity will come into this world. That has an impact. But until Jesus Himself sets foot on this earth, satan will influence this world and tempt people to sin, so don't count on this world turning into a paradise before Jesus returns. Certainly not in these last days before Jesus returns because satan knows that he has limited time and will do everything in his power to drag so many people into a life without God.
So the fight is about your soul. Can you arm yourself? yes indeed: Repent! Confess your sins and lay them down (sin no more). Always be honest, real and sincere. Put on the armor (Ephesians 6), give room to the Holy Spirit to let its fruit grow in your life (love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, patience, faithfulness, meekness and self-control, Galatians 5:22 and 23 from the bible), use the spiritual gifts that God gives you (1 Corinthians 12 from the bible). regularly remember the death of Jesus Christ (supper) because that's where the source of live can be obtained. Grow in the authority we have in the name of Jesus to bind the demons in your own life and other's life through which people can be set free and healed. Forgiveness and reconciliation are 2 strong weapons from which the darkness must wane.
Worship God and give Him every day the glory due to Him as your Creator, as King and as our Saviour. Know that we must be so abundant in love and acceptance that we can never do it on our own. That is why it is important to remain constantly filled with the Holy Spirit and close to Jesus ("in Christ").
